It's October 31st and that means many things, but the most notable is that it's Halloween.
For years Hogwarts has merely thrown a simple feast in celebration of the day, but this year things are going to be a little different. Join as in the Great Hall on the eve of November 1st dressed in what you fear the most. Take on the form of your boggart and conquer your fear, by enjoying yourself in this years Halloween Extravaganza...if you dare.

something about this place doesn't bode well with many of the children. however the slytherin common room can be found in the dungeons and closer to the kitchen the hufflepuff common room as well.

this is a first years first view of hogwarts. if the large oak doors don't impress you wait until you step foot into the great hall.

the first floor is home to three classes, a whole lot of corridors and a few of the offices that belong to their respective professors.

managed to make your way up another flight of stairs did you? this floor doesn't hold much except for moaning myrtle's bathroom and you don't go in there unless you are looking for trouble.

the third floor is home to the charms class. it also holds a few statues along its corridor and the all important hospital wing.

you don't come up to this floor unless you are in need of the library. you might also come here if you are up to mischief, but under no circumstances is that condoned.

the transfiguration classroom can be found on this floor as well as the prefects' bathroom. the rest of the floor is covered with empty classrooms, offices and statues.

the arithmancy and ancient runes classrooms can be found on this floor. the boys' and girls' bathrooms are here as well.

some say there is a hidden room on this floor, who knows. this floor is however home to the gryffindor common room and the divination classroom.

the ravenclaws' find their common room here and if you want to send an owl you have to head up this way to the owlery. the astronomy tower is also this way.

the hogwarts grounds are home to the quidditch pitch, the whomping willow, the greenhouses and the forbidden forrest. stay clear of the forbidden forrest, there is a reason it has that name.

hogsmeade village is the only all-wizarding village in britain. it is located at the northwest of the hogwarts castle. students visit during weekend trips to enjoy the shops that the village has to offer.

diagon alley is a wizarding street and shopping area located in london. the alley offers an assortments of shops, restaurants and other sights. it is often filled with students and their parents before the beginning of the new school year.

a shooping area of the diagon alley, it is devoted soley to the dark arts. you don't want to be seen wandering this alley.

the governing body for the magical community of britain. the headquarters of which are in the centre of london, deep underground.

established to treat magical illnesses and injuries specific to the wizarding world, you enter the building through a window of a derelict department store.

this is where the magical world blends in with the non-magical one. you can also find kings cross station here.
